The Dipton Mill is is a family owned and run pub. The Brooker family bought the pub in 1989 and have successfully run the pub ever since.
The premises license passed from Geoff Brooker to his son Mark in 2015 and Janet continues cooking the delicious food that the pub has such a well deserved reputation for.
The family started Hexhamshire Brewery in 1992 to supply beer to the Dipton Mill and other pubs in the North East and now the brewery is in the hands of the second generation, Mark.

In 2017 the brewery was relocated to the grounds of the pub and there has been a significant investment in our brew plant.
